Jack just told me to go and get a job so that Jay could stay home with him. It's so nice to be appreciated.
At least Luke appreciates me....or at least my ability to lactate.
What we believe.....
Jay
Jay's first loves are basketball and Colorado, but only because he knew them before me. He has a Superman complex and wants to save the world.
Lindsay
I get to relive my childhood each day playing with our boys. I have a great time watching movies, playing with blocks and taking naps. But when Jay is home I pretend that I am a grown-up :)
Jack
Jack is our #1. He loves basketball and hand sanitizer. He wants to grow up to be a builder, an electrician, and a dressage rider.
Luke
Luke is our #2. He is our child genius. He loves to learn, and surprise us with his extensive vocabulary. He loves animals and wants to be a trash man when he grows up.
Tripp
Tripp is our #3. He is our gentle giant. He has a humongous grin and a gigantic belly. He aspires to be a food critic and a mama's boy.
Charlie
Charlie is our #4, by one minute. He may be the smallest, but he has the loudest opinions. He is charming and studious. When he grows up he wants to be the president.

It's ok. Dad's are always funner. The kids never want to play with me, but when Mike gets home they won't stop bugging him for playtime.
Ah, sad. I'm pretty sure Mya thinks her dad is more fun than her mom too. They play a game where he sticks his tongue out at her and she does it back at him and they both laugh. I stick my tongue out at her the same way and she furrows her brow at me like I'm nuts!
I kind of always resented that...I think it is pretty normal for kids to think dad is more fun. They haven't been around them all day so when they come home, they aren't kid tired, but ready to play.
Ahh so young and yet already speaking like a true man!! Love it!!
low blow Jack, low blow. I guess it's safe to say Luke is now your favorite child :)
